Segue Software:
Complete Client/Server Testing Solutions

Segue Software, Inc. pioneered the use of multi-platform client/server testing in 1993 with the introduction of QA Partner. Originally formed in 1988 to port DOS applications to the UNIX market, Segue had the ability and experience necessary to test applications across multiple hardware platforms, operating systems and graphical user interfaces (GUIs). Segue's breakthrough technology resulted in a patent pending, object-oriented testing architecture, enabling test scripts to be developed and stored independent of the hardware platform or GUI.

Segue incorporated into this technology a practical and flexible testing methodology, a robust and specialized testing language and an integrated results analysis - QA Partner. Embraced by independent software vendors (ISVs), hardware manufacturers, and embedded systems developers, QA Partner quickly became the leading client/server and GUI testing system of choice.

In 1995, Segue's testing methodology and products gained market share in the commercial marketplace - namely Fortune 2000 companies - because of its improved ease of use and testing capabilities. Segue also expanded its solution to include fully integrated test management features with the introduction of QA Planner.

Now with QualityWorks in 1996, Segue provides the only testing system to validate all components of a distributed client/server application. QualityWorks is the implementation of Segue's vision to provide a complete and practical solution to the QA problem through an open, integrated QA architecture. QualityWorks provides testing functionality, productivity, methodology and management within an integrated tool set.

Segue Software develops, markets and supports the QualityWorks(tm) family of open architecture quality assurance software tools, methodology and management. QualityWorks(tm) enables the rapid development and reuse of automated software tests across more than 20 platforms, and is currently used by more than 7,200 software quality professionals worldwide.
